lyrics

Lyrics:
I once knew a man
His name was Hubert Lestrange
He died a year ago
A year ago to this day
I'm going to buy a bunch of flowers for his grave side,
the largest garland you've ever seen
He always hated flowers
I always hated him

You see Hubert Lestrange was my nemesis
He abhorred my very essence
and I couldn't stand his
And that is why you'll find me standing by his graveside
on this most important day
as I ready myself for my weekly dance
upon dear Hubert's resting place

Oh there ain't no feeling known to man
that one could say is greater than
dancing on the grave of one's nemesis
And there ain't nothing on this earth
from which I derive more gleeful mirth than
dancing on the grave of one's nemesis

A bitter rivalry must be nursed most tenderly
for such a thing won't flourish without care
It takes years of devious scheming
to dash each other's dreams in
a manner quite severe yet debonair

To fuel a fiendish feud requires conviction
of the kind that is so rarely to be found
And so once the stage is set up
let him know there'll be no let up
until one of you is six feet underground

To crush a rascal's spirit takes some planning
so it pays to learn what makes the scoundrel tick
Get to know him inside out
be he a dastardly gadabout
or a dangerously psychotic lunatic

And then the day will come for all of us
when one will stand victorious
and the other quite ingloriously dies
And as you dance a steady waltz
over this fella with no pulse
it is then, my friend, that you will realise, believe me

There ain't no feeling known to man
that one could say is greater than
dancing on the grave of one's nemesis
And there ain't nothing on this earth
from which I derive more gleeful mirth than
dancing on the grave of one's nemesis
dancing on the grave of one's nemesis
Yeah
